Oscar Scannell

Oscar Scannell is a UK/HK composer, recording artist, photographer, videographer, and visual digital artist.^[1]

according to his official Spotify artist about page - "after the release of his 2021 single, Timeless, Oscar started specialising in orchestral fusion music, with his debut album, Atomic (2022), lead single Unified, and follow-up singles Vio and Leaving

last year, he started experimenting with ambient and electronic music, following his collaboration with Marcus Y., index and then a series of singles Visions, Please., The Fallen, and Hit 297h Await, all featured on the album Goodbye (2023)

this year, Oscar has released 4 official singles so far - Our Shadows Fall, Faraway There Is a Land, Drifting, and The Moon That Never Sets - all of which will be featured in his upcoming album, When We All Close Our Eyes releasing 31.05.2024. he also released a Bandcamp exclusive release - "2024" (Extended Mix).

he is currently working on combining visuals and audio into one singular experience, by creating audio-responsive visual elements. whilst Oscar hasn't announced any videos or other audio-visual projects, you can see the start of this adventure into audio-reactive visuals combined with sound as the official video for "Hit 297h Await".

aside from ambience / electronic, Oscar is also involved in the experimental dance group please don't cry."^[2]
